The Folk Club meets every Monday at:
The Royal British Legion Club, Rosehill Street, Conwy

Doors open at 07:30pm, Music starts around 8:30pm There's no entrance fee, but a prize raffle is held
The venue is fully wheelchair friendly
Most Mondays are singers nights (open mike), first come, first served
Late-comers often don't get the opportunity to perform, so arrive early to avoid disappointment!

Monday 4th May... Nick Gausden Reporting:
Emily Williams & Rebecca Sullivan collectively known as 'Ember' played Conwy for the first time last week.
Already arrived ahead of them was a fast growing reputation as one of the hottest acts on the current folk circuit.
The very attractive and musically accomplished duo did not disappoint the large awaiting audience, singing a mixture of traditional, self-penned and covered material.
The afforementioned reputation was justified and I'm sure we will see them again at Conwy in the not too distant future. Nick Gausden.

The first STAGECRAFT night of 2009 was on Wednesday the 1st of April - but we weren't fooling! Several people learned how to set up the PA equipment how to use the sound desk and a couple of people had the opportunity to perform without a huge audience...
